Bell County should win but Campbellsville is no joke. Bell cannot take them lightly.

This one would open up some eyes in 1A as well if Campbellsville wins. But……alas…..they won’t. Bell running game to much

Bell 54 Campbellsville 28.
The defense is going to give up some plays just because campbellsville has studs on the outside and a mobile QB. I just can’t see bell having to punt.
I would like to see a shared attack on offense. If miller gets 15-20 touches he is going to get over 200 yards and a few scores fairly easily, but he doesn’t need 40 where he just gets worn down. I would love to see Everage get it going and some highlight tape plays through the air to Brigmon. Everage can be a difference maker lining up everywhere on the field, and I love seeing him getting the ball in space on play action or check downs just wished it happened more often. I want every team Bell could face knowing that Brigmon is going to require a double team.

This will be a dandy. I’m going to be watching the O-line vs D- line matchups. Campbellsville will have some speed and a good quarterback. I will most definitely be following this one.

Bell seemed to struggle with Hazard I expect Campbellsville to be more talented among the front then Hazard and at the skill spots. This could be a challenge for Bell. Hilton & crew need this W. Campbellsville could put themselves in a prime spot in 1A with a victory expecting fireworks in this one.

A win here by Campbellsville would be huge. If this is a fast paced scoring it favors Campbellsville. If it’s slow paced and Bell is grinding and get huge chunks on the ground then it will be in Bells favor. But after seeing JC line getting pushed around by Bell it seems like that Bell line is legit and the Hazard front doesn’t seem to look that bad (my opinion). Friday and Saturday can’t get here quick enough.

Miller who averaged over 25 touches a game last year, touched the ball 5-6 times in the first half against hazard. He had one screen pass td, one 2pt conversion, and a 70yd TD called back. He touched it twice in the second half, he had two 20 yd carries. The varsity guys scored on all but one drive, where the one drive had 2 holding calls on 25yd+ runs and they punted on 4th and a million.

"struggle" is an interesting word. In a scrimmage you have to look at the little things more than the overall picture. Bell was better at every position on the field in hazard other than WR (Johnson is the best athlete in 1A this year) and maybe one of the linebackers. More importantly they were better up front on both sides, and I doubt Campbellsville is going to have an Oline/Dline close to Hazard or JC.

I honestly thought hazards front on D and front 7 may have been a little tougher than JC??? I know Im insane but Bell was able to run in the wishbone fairly easily against JC where they had to spread it out to run against hazard (which is their best offense). Now the Oline and backs goes to JC of course. Like I said, I would be blown away if Campbellsville had a line comparable to those two.

Bell County isn’t overlooking Campbellsville IMO, they’re too well coached for that. The Bobcats know what’s coming.

What most people don't know is where the Eagles are strongest. Everyone points to the skill guys, the flashy weapons, and Kace Eastridge at QB. But the truth is Campbellsville’s best unit is the one no one’s talking about on here. The trenches. Their offensive and defensive lines are the heartbeat of this team, and in a game like this, that matters more than anything else.

It’s going to be won and lost up front and that’s why this one feels like it could be a very, very good football game.
