I love the schedule, should let most of us Maroon fans know if we are as good as some of us believe we will be lol. Good luck to all the Mountain teams this year!

9-1.

Johnson Central game is winnable so a 10-0 slate would not shock me.

They’ll beat Corbin at home.

Great schedule! I expect the maroons to take care of business, if they can stay healthy through the first 6 games.

Corbin, JC, and South Warren all back to back before district play will be very entertaining! I would not be surprised if they go undefeated reg season. But can understand an off game with one of those 3 foes. Bryan Station could be interesting as well with the early game at boyle.

High expectations though for the maroons, excited for this season. These kids are ready to prove they are true contenders for a 5A title.

I'd like a rematch with highlands this year personally

This is the number one team in the mountains if they stay healthy. IMO 2026 mr football is in the backfield for them. In a biased sense I think bell county has a chance, but really the two games I think could be framed as 50/50 is BS and JC. Bryan station on a neutral site, at the hottest part of the day in august could set up issues. JC on the road is always going to be a test.

What makes you all thing Pulaski will beat Corbin? How many points are you giving them for home field?

I'm not as confident as some of the other guy's about Pulaski beating Corbin but I personally feel like they have a shot at beating Corbin. I'd say it's a td game either way at this point but that could change by the Corbin game. As good as Pulaski starters will be this year the one thing they are lacking is depth, for some reason they really struggle getting transfers like some of the other schools around the area. The good thing about it all is not one game has ever been won on Bluegrass Rivals, they are won and lost on the field.

Pulaski goes down to Corbin last year, loses by 2 TD. With ole gunslinger Elam and some top notch receivers. Idk if any of the starting receivers are returning or not. Maybe one? PC shut the run game down for the most part.

If I’m not mistaken, I think Pulaski’s QB sat out most of that game with an injury or waiting for playoffs? Correct me if I’m wrong please.

With all that considered Pulaski is returning with most of their starters and firepower. Seems to me based off of basic information that Pulaski has the edge.

AI & OSH think otherwise and that’s what makes it fun!

Smile Corbin will be going through a change as a team for this season. They will be under a new offensive coordinator and QB. So, if running the ball is more of the choice of play calling, then it won't be just Pulaski County that comes away with a W. Also with a few losses, Corbin will be on the road in round 3. Pulaski on the other hand, if they handle Corbin, then I would almost venture to say, Pulaski will have to be a top 5 team in 5A and possibly be in a prime position to make a run at one of the top teams in 5A for a chance at a title run. I'll say it now. Pulaski is my dark horse to win 5A in 2025.

I agree. I think Corbin wins at Pulaski.

After much thought, I do think Pulaski will have a home loss this year but not to Corbin, South Warren I think will be our only home loss this year but who really knows I'm just ready for some football.
