Chad Baker-Mazara Enters Transfer Portal
#1
When healthy, Auburn looked like the best and most impressive team last season. Baker-Mazara was a huge part of that.

Awhile back, I'd mentioned I'm another thread that I'd read that his reps had reached out to take the temperature with Kentucky. Think that was a bit of a pipe dream then, but I know that if there's legit interest, there may be at least one fellow poster who might not be thrilled.

If he's added to next year's team, that's a huge get, but it would also leave me wondering if it'd be a sign that Oweh wouldn't be back.

He's the kind of guy I hate if he's kicking my team's ass. He's the kind of guy I love if he's helping my team kick Tennessee and Auburn's asses. UK has a roster full of goodie goodie Mormon missionaries. We need a couple of mouthy, confident(cocky, even)  guys who will mix it up and lay the smack down on some Jabronis' Candy asses.   I'd take CBM in a heartbeat. The Wildcats better develop  a little nasty in their game. Nice guys finish... tied for sixth.

My bad. UK only had one LDS that I know of---Collin Chandler. But they did have too many goody goodies. Way too soft. Need some physical guys with several sides of nasty.

So I guess Cooper Flagg wouldn't fit in at UK.

UK just got Florida guard Denzel Aberdeen.

No, I hope he's concentrating on getting better at basketball than worrying about his teammates closeness with his imaginary.  For those who grew up in a Southern Baptist church like Old School did you know what I'm saying is true. We were  taught that LDS members belonged to a cult. What our dear Southern Baptist leaders didn't tell us is that we were no better than the LDS in that regard.  GO CATS!!!   Basketball > Elohim

Do you know Cooper personally?  Cooper is already light years better than anyone UK has last season. Someone with that skill set always fits in.

You had me excited. Thought you were gonna say Clayton, Jr.  Why would a FLA native, leave a national champion , Florida, to come to Lexington, other than UK offered  money and more girls? Maybe he like horses and whiskey.

Hate to break this to you, not, but there are more than enough hours in the day to both get better at basketball AND advocate for Christ to your teammates. And rich that you know his "imaginary" while believing in the beginning there was total nothingness then it blew up, and if you leave a bunch of monkeys in a room full of typewriters and plenty of bananas for a few billion years, when you get back they will be walking upright talking to each other and banging out Shakespeare-level manuscripts on their typewriters. All with a straight face and not a scintilla of evidence.
That's what I call a great imagination.

Ask diehard UK fans, in confidence and w/o peer pressure, what do they want from their players, more buckets or more prayers. BBN cares about winning ballgames and little to nothing about whether young Chandler helps his teammates draw loser to God. In fact, most of BBN are non -LDS and would prefer he has no influence on their spiritual "wisdom," whatsoever. Bottomline, BBN doesn't give a rat's ass about anything but trying to win basketball trophies. Basketball trumps Elohim in Kentucky.

Basketball doesn't trump God for the vast majority of people in KY or anywhere else.

Looks like Baker-Mazara has committed to USC.
