Best Shooter in the 15th
#1
Just wanted to poll this question
#2
Just a quick fix, it should be J Hall as in Jordan Hall. No problem though.

Yes, your right it should be J. Hall. Maybe a mod can fix it Big Grin Big Grin
#4
IMO Elijah Justice...
.
#5
This doesn't say 3, so I would definitely say Elisha, he is money inside the 3 point arch.
#6
Akers without a doubt..
#7
Being quite bias, I'll go with my main man Jordan Hall. But Aaron Crum can stroke the three very good also.
#8
Well, since this thread is "best shooter" and NOT "3 point shooter".
I have to go with Landon Slone.
Simply because the kid can flat stroke it. Elisha is a good shooter no doubt. But, you can sit and watch a game with Landon thinking he didn't do to well, just because he didn't fire up 10 to 12 threes and then you find out he had 26 pts. Landon has what most kids around this area have forgot about. It's called a midrange jumper. If you watch most teams before a game when they warmup with their shoot around. Most kids head straight for the arch and start firing them up. Landon starts inside and works his way out.
#9
I gotta go with Landon then Elisha Justice behind him. Landon can hit from anywhere on the floor whether it be the short corner slightly behind the backboard or 3 feet behind the arch. And like OTH said, he has an almost automatic mid-range jumper that kids these days have forgot about.
#10
Got to go with Slone, then Justice two of the top guards in the region. What a backcourt this would be for a Head Coach.

Good point! Landon does have an excellent mid range jumper & he does get his points very quitely. Heck, of a player, best in the region IMO!

With 30 people voting so far no big surprises. The poll has gone pretty much the way I thought it would. Most people have agreed so far that A. Crum is the best shooter in the 15th region.
#13
Gonna have to go with Crum 1st, with L. Slone as a close 2nd, then Justice a distant 3rd. Don't think Hall and Akers can even in comparison with these 3.

Aaron Crum probably is the best shooter...But its only like 30 votes...The poll was juss started late last night, give it some time to prosper...Aaron Crum will prolly stay in front the whole poll...All I was saying is that Justice is one of the best, but not the best...

Slone - Paintsville

I simply stated the way the poll was looking after "30 votes". Then I went on to say Crum was leading "so far". "So far" implies that it has time left to run. If you go back and read what I said you'll realize that you just quoted me and then repeated it Smile

I didn't say he was the best either (hey we agreed --- Wow!). I said he was one of the best, probably the 3rd best behind Crum & Slone IMO.

Well lets just let the poll do the talkin then...Justice will finish 4th or lower...Let it run for a wk. or 2...
#18
Would have to go with Landon as best all around shooter. On most nights he can hit from anywhere, be it a 2 foot jumper or a 3 point shot.

Those are some pretty impressive numbers!

After 48 voters so far there are still no surprises. Poll has went pretty much as expected IMO.

Half the people that will vote on this poll have probably only seen one of these guys play, I've seen them all so I feel I was able to make an educated vote.

Me too!

OK here come the excuses now. Don't make assumptions. I myself have seen at least 70 basketball games this season and I have seen every single one of these boys play. The one you are talking about, I have seen him play every year since he was in the 7th grade. AND more than likely almost everyone that is voting on this thread is from the 15th region and has seen at least 3 play. The numbers that seperate the top 2 from the rest should say enough in it's self.
#29
Landon, of course.
#30
60 ppl have voted so far...Looks like Slone is starting to run away with it or it seems that way anyways.Smile
