Arkansas 75 St. John's 66 (NCAA Tournament Second Round)
#1
Final from Providence.

Calipari vs. Pitino lived up to the hype despite the early tip.

Lots of second guessing Pitino for the RJ Luis situation. Arkansas did this without Adou Thiero, who may be back for the Texas Tech game.

Jack, who do you like in the Arkansas/TT matchup?

I like the under more than either team. If Thiero plays, Arkansas has a chance.

Texas Tech has let some teams play close to them before pulling away late. They also rely on one player (Toppin) quite a bit, which can be risky in a tournament setting.

Key for Cal and Arkansas will be how many shots Davis can make. I've felt that he's bailed them out a few times in the past two or so weeks by making some tough looks that Cal wasn't happy with him taking. Definitely got the impression that they butted heads but he has no choice but to play him.

They'll need more than just him, but Richmond has been playing really well too. Think Fland isn't at full strength and think he's another body and an emotional lift, but he isn't going to be one of the best players on the floor.

I just can't trust late career Calipari in this one, even though I think that the SEC gets an upset (Ole Miss or Arkansas) and has at least one team upset (Florida, Auburn, Alabama) this weekend.
