Final it wasn't pretty but another big shot by Oweh for the win!

How many of you stayed up to watch the game? I didn't make it to the tip off. I was snoozing.

I just finished watching it. I DVRd it along with a 2 1/2 hour extension.
Garrison and Williams had great moments in their games, but they would turn right around and do something really stupid.
We NEED Butler! I hope he's going to be back healthy!
The officiating was horribly inconsistent, IMO. As far as I'm concerned, Fears needs to transfer to Auburn where he can play with the other thugs. He has amazing talent, but his attitude needs to mature some IMO. He's a lot like Garrison, with his revenge mind set.

I watched every second. Oh, the joy of being retired! (Which I have been for about six weeks. I highly recommend it.) I mean, if we had blown a 77-65 lead with four minutes left……which we almost did. We looked almost as clueless against a press as Texas does. But this is the time of the year of just win, baby. We should be locked into a three seed now, so anything from here in the SEC will be gravy. But I’m afraid we may get our butts handed to us tonight by Bama.

I watched it all, was up till 2:30 watching all the post-game stuff and typing this from work as we speak! It was well worth it tho.
They sure played with a lot of toughness last night, which has been a rarity all season, but it's like something finally clicked for them bc we all know SEC officiating has been poor all season long and they let them play/miss a lot of calls, just like Chander getting short of murdered and had blood down his face, but they finally said well, if they're not going to call it, we can get away with it and by hell they have.
I wouldn't even risk putting Butler back out there, he has been playing at 50% at best for the last month or so, there is just no way he can go anymore, I hate to say that bc he has been such an important player for this team, but his health is more important.
As great as the heroics of Oweh was, we shouldn't have been in that position last night, being up 10 with 2 minutes left, and up 6 with 40 seconds left, but Butler not being out there hurt without a true ballhandler, OU forced 2 straight turnovers and scored 5 points to take the lead, but have to give credit to Oweh for not slowing down at halfcourt where he nearly got trapped, and the degree of difficulty on that left handed shot was real high, the fact that he made it was incredible.
Just a heck of a game either way, hard to believe that was Kentucky's first SEC Tournament win since 2022.

Big win. Gotta hope Butler is ok for the NCAA.

This team will certainly retain your attention.
