I was thinking that this has been one of the most enjoyable teams to watch in some time. Not as talented as plenty of Cal's teams, but a group that seems easy to root for.

Big contributions from Carr today. Outside of maybe our first game in the tournament, it's going to take contributions from everyone going forward.

Having a good showing in the SEC Tournament and getting the final #3 seed would be huge. Big difference in a 3-14 game and a 4-13 game.

The Cats have improved their defense a ton since mid way through the season. Got somewhat healthy still missing Robinson and Kerr but this team is the team we got going forward. Having the same group for the last week has helped. Look forward to seeing how they play come tournament time. I think we win a game maybe two in SEC tournament. I like our chances of making it to the Sweet 16 but once we see the brackets we will know more.

Im not being negative, just real.  Granted when I posted that Kentucky was still an 8 seed in the SEC tournament, now they are a 6.  So if they dont get at least 1 win in SEC tournament then Pope should be fired.

You're crazier than a soup sandwich.  Kentucky has 8 wins overTop 15 oppoents. Only three teams in the history of the world have acoomplished that---Duke, Indiana, and now this Mark Pope-coached band of misfit toys. They have overachieved in exceptional fashion.

They do with mediocre talent. .  Amari Williams is not Anthony Davis.  Andrew Carr is not KAT.  Lamont Butler is not John Wall. You said yourself before the season that this team would be lucky to win 10 games. Well, hey've won 21, and will probably win a few more. It's been a good season. They've far exceeded most people's expectations, including yours. They've been fun to watch. Entertaining offense, easy guys to root for. What's your problem? If Pope fills a roster with blue chip talent and fails to produce, I'll be the first one to call him out on his failures. But anyone saying that this hasn't been a fun and successful season is crazier than a dog in a hub cap fatory.

I take Plant at his word. There may be some trolling on his part, which is fine, but I think he believes what he says. And I say that because I frewuent two other boards that he posts on and he is the same person on those boards. Same Deep State conspiracy stuff, same odd , outlandish takes about Bengals, Reds, Wildcats. Sometimes he has some takes I agree with. I believe him. I just think he nuttier than a squirrel turd.
