Give me Betsy Layne one more time over Floyd Central regardless if the "COY" is there or not. Should be a great game and wouldn't be surprised to see either win regardless of any suspension if that is a real thing.

Definitely changes this game for Mike Howard to be suspended. Those boys will have to rally together but like others have said it is really difficult to beat a decent team 4 times.

Yes, he was suspended due to incidents after the 58th District Championship game.

As for the game itself? Floyd Central is playing really good basketball at the right time, went on the road and beat a Valley team who I thought & said was a team who could end a team's season, only to see their season ended. As the old adage goes, it's tough to be a team 3 times in the same season, BL has done that already against the Jags, all 3 games tho were really close and tightly contested.

A lot of pressure on Betsy Layne at the moment, won a district championship, got a coach of the year who won't even be coaching, and a Floyd Central team who are clicking at the right time and playing with house money. Give me FC to beat the Bobcats.

I can see the scorekeeper getting disciplined, but I dont agree with the decision on the coach.  I am a total outsider, but he didn't do anything to warrant a suspension.
Typical Floyd County.... They can't seem to stay out of their own way..... and I don't see it getting any better.

Still would've been possible under old region format as well. 

Meet 2 times in regular season, district championship, and if they met in regional tournament which would have been semi-finals or championship.

Look over in the 14th, Hazard has beaten Breathitt 4 times in the regular season, more than likely will play a 5th time if they meet in the regional championship.

2012-13 Betsy Layne beat South Floyd 4 times. That’s the only time I can remember it has happened. The other times that two 58th teams have met 4 times that I can think of neither team won all 4. Very hard to win 4 times against the same team.

Coaches are held to a higher standard than a fan. He should’ve just done the prayer and not even respond to her.
