Montgomery County 60 George Rogers Clark 55 (40th District Final)
#1
Final from Paris. A big win for Montgomery. Coach Mays in just his 2nd year gets the Indians the district title and their first win over GRC in almost 9 years to the day. One thing about Coach Mays love him or hate him he is a heck of a coach.

Yeah. he's going to be a hand full for Cook in more ways than one in the future.

I'm guessing there will be a rematch in the Regional finals.

Well Mays has been known to dip his hand in the cookie jar a few too many times over the years.

Pretty well known also what Cook has done at GRC.

Since Mays is in the fold now and the same region, may be dipping their hands in the jar for some of the same cookies.

If you didn't see it this way, then my bad on that, but that's the way I see it.

It doesn’t matter how many “cookies” a coach has they still have to be coached to be winners. Just having talent doesn’t always produce. I’ve seen quite a few coaches over the years, at all levels, take stud thoroughbreds and turn them into geldings.
