Kentucky vs. Auburn 3/1
#1
Well, this one is the one we've all been waiting for and anticipating.

#1 Auburn rolls into Rupp.

One thing that has hindered this UK team all season is physicality & toughness; well it doesn't get any moreore physical & tough that Auburn. They just have so much balance, led by Johni Broome who is a POTY candidate, great guard play and great depth as well, definitely Bruce Pearls best team.

I know Robinson is still bothered by that wrist, and hopefully Butler will still be good to go Saturday. Gotta think the confidence for Oweh is off the charts right now after his performance against OU. If they can continue to get tough post play from Williams, that will be a big-time advantage to open up the perimeter.

This will definitely be the toughest test up to this season, but they've faired well against top competition this season.

Tip-off will be at 1:00.

Folks, what's everyone's thoughts on this one?

Auburn hasn't won at Rupp since bread was $0.61 a loaf , "So Emotional", by Whitney Houston was the #1 song, and some ex-actor by the name of Reagan was president.
#9
No Robinson. Brea going to have to hit 8 3s for us to win

Same here. Gonna be safe and keep my parley on Auburn though.

Brutal start...

You know, officiating in college basketball is making the sport almost unwatchable.
#13
It really is, and combine that with Bruce P. Necklace and I'm close to vomiting.

Yep. And here we are looking at TV monitors again. I don't know if I can watch an entire game of this.

College sports is in a dark place, as far as I'm concerned. Terrible officiating, minutes spent looking at monitors, NIL, portals, flagrant fouls for giving someone a stink eye. I wonder what the game will look like in 50 years, Robots? Meet George Jetson, and his boy , Elroy.

Mark getting schooled by that slimeball in orange. He has to be better, too.

I don't know if we'll see Jax and Butler truly healthy again.

I'd like to see someone shut up CBM with a hard right forearm to the piehole.

I hope we have robot referees because the human ones are excruciating.

I totally expected a loss today but didn't expect it to put me in a bad mood. ETA at over it = 4 PM

Pope needs to go full out deranged mode on these refs. They are HORRIBLE!!! Please, Mark!!!!

Excruciatingly excruciating. And, on top of the awful officiating, to have to look at Pearl Necklace's(I like that one) smug mug for two hours on a Saturday.

Maybe some of the kids in the intermural league on campus can finish this game.

We have regressed, no doubt. Of course, the injuries, and the resulting loss of continuity and cohesion , have been a big reason why.

The officiating and the monitor trips are indeed horrible. They’ve go to do something about going to the monitor all the time, it disrupts the flow of the game so much. But as for the game itself, I just think they are better than we are. Period. We play them 10 times we win one, two at the most. Auburn may very well win the whole thing.

We aren't regressing or getting better. We weren't beating Auburn today.

This one's for you OSH

I honestly don't know if we beat them one time out of ten. Maybe with a 100% fully healthy roster and an atypically bad performance from Auburn. Their players are just better than ours. Slimeball Pearl Necklace knows how to get the talent, and he's pretty good at coaching them up.

The song says they look better at closing time, but I don't know if this team will ever look better.  These guys better be done with the portal, because nobody else will select them. LOL

This team will not go deep in any tournament, just plain bad.

I had to quit watching after that phantom foul on UK on the 3 point attempt. Auburn would be very hard to beat with an even whistle, so combine that with so many stoppages in play, working out in my yard seemed to be a much better option.

It really was a painful watch. Something needs to be done to make college ball more watchable. It's getting dangerously close to unwatchable.
