Boyd vs Ashland
#1
Score predictions?
#2
I think Boyd pulls the district championship off by 7, then Ashland wins in Morehead once again to advance to Rupp.
#3
If rumors can be believed APB has Davis and Hughes out with injury and Neel has broken finger but is reportedly playing. APB has no bench. If Boyd is healthy APB has to be shooting lights out to knock Boyd off.

This should be a good game. Boyd still has guys recovering and out due to injury (Taylor and Huff). Sounds like APB does as well but they have the starting 5 they have had all season. This game typically never disappoints. I think Boyd has won the last 3 on APB home court. Can they make it a fourth!

I think this will come down to two things. Who plays better defense, and which team is shooting it better tonight. Also, will the layoff help or hurt Ashland?

Score prediction:
BC 78
APB 68
#5
This one doesn't matter. Play freely, have fun, realistically best 2 teams in the 16th are these 2and both already going to MSU. Also, only way they play is finals again with APB winning and HOOPFAN going ballistic again.

3, 2, 1 go!!!!!

I may be wrong but Ashland's last game was game was ten days ago and no one was injured. Must of had some bad luck and/or intense practices to now have three injured going into the post season. Doesn't sound right but who knows?? Stranger things have happened....

You are absolutely right. I would also add staying out of foul trouble. I believe both teams will step up on defense which, depending on how tightly the officials call the game, could lead to some issues. Ten days is a long layoff and the Tomcats could definitely have some ring rust, if they do they'll be playing from behind all night. I would still rank shooting as the biggest factor with both of these teams. Should be a good one.

Davis rolled his ankle in the HEP game. I’m assuming it was his bad ankle from his football injury which would explain why he is still out.
But no one from APB has confirmed any of the injuries so could just be useless talk.

So why even play if it doesn't matter? LOL you are such a baby. I do think with the 8 teams going. APB or BC is one bad shooting night away from getting beat by Fleming if they are on and possibly Russell or Raceland.

It is why you play the game.

KY we all know where your man crush is going to be tonight. Why not go up to him and get a picture with him or his autograph. The way that guy lives in your head you should at least have something to show for all those sleepless nights and daydreams. HaHa!

This is a tough one and will be one of the better games around the state. The rivalry combined with how good each team is. This is going to be a battle from start to finish. I am going to try and catch this one. I expect Spurlock and Carter to both have big games and we will see what happens. I think it will be physical like the last meeting. I think Ashland holds on for a 3 point win.

Boyd Co starts hot and stays hot! They win going away.

Boyd Co. 84
Ashland 67

My prediction...whoever wins tonight, loses the rematch in the regional final.

Fleming is the only team that could sneak up on Ashland or Boyd and HOOPFAN if you think Russell or Raceland can you need your meds.

Ashland is in total control in the first half so far as they are up 13 at 34-21 midway through the 2nd quarter.

Butt kicking so far

It is now a 21 point led for the Tomcats early in the 3rd quarter.

75-53 Ashland after 3 quarters. Boyd scored the last 6 points of the quarter.

It is now a 30 point game at 87-57 Ashland with just over 5 minutes left in the game. A total domination tonight by the Tomcats.
