Kentucky 83 Oklahoma 82

Wow. Heck of a shot for the game.

Kentucky played horrendous defense, but somehow pulled the game out! That was a game they really needed

Oweh is a man amongst boys. Enough said.

Glad we got the win but we are infinitely closer to being ass than champs. Early tourney exits await unless we find a Jeannie(or a Jaxson) in a bottle. Still hoping to see Pope blow a gasket and toss a chair some day.

He was a boy among grown ass men in Tuscaloosa.

Got me there. 2 points and 5 fouls definitely not a good look.

Pope needs to put in a call to South London and see if he can get Jefferson Davis to come to Lexington and teach him and his Wildcats how to play defense. That paltry Oklahoma team would score about 38 against a Jeff Davis-coached defense.

Loved seeing us pull this one out.

Anyone think the Oklahoma game is going to be fun next year? Or if they meet up again in the SEC Tournament? The latter is unlikely, but it isn't entirely out of the question. Oklahoma is sitting at #14 right now and Kentucky is in good shape for the #6 seed if they beat LSU and Missouri.

Much needed win for the Cats.

You know, I’m convinced when they went to the monitor at the end of the game that Garrison would have gotten a taunting technical if there had still be any time left on the clock. But the video clearly showed the dustup happened a second or two after time had expired. I was holding my breath there, what a horrible way that would have been to lose a game.

Way to grind it out and get the win! Awesome performance by the Cats baby!!!

I was thinking the exact same thing. And they would have really enjoyed calling it.

I thought the exact same thing!!  He needs to control his emotions a little better.
On the other hand, did you see the footage of the beer can that was thrown at the players when they were exiting the floor?
I'm chastising Garrison, but to be honest, I would be foaming at the mouth if one of my teams had been the target of a beer can from the stands!!!!

Same here, I was just waiting for the ref to assess the technical, and that pretty much would've been the game.

Garrison has been known to show a little too much emotion, and last night could have really costed them bad. Pope and his staff are gonna have to talk to this guy and get him settled down, bc if this is a continuing trend, it will definitely cost us down the road, and refs are going to be more keen on popping him from now on if he gets too wild.

Other than that, what a game, didn't play the best game at all but just found a way to win and that's exactly what we needed in a hostile road enviroment. Oweh with one of the all-time Kentucky basketball performances, scoring 21 of the last 23 points, that'll never be forgotten.

Great win for the Cats, toughest test of the season comes Saturday.

Still trying to figure out, is this team decent or just lucky.  Beginning to believe just lucky.

I said in the prediction thread that I thought Oweh would play with a chip on his shoulder after the poor performance at Alabama and this being his former coach and teammates at Oklahoma. He was having another below average game until that last 10 minutes. That was an incredible individual performance to will us to victory. I wish he would do that more and just take over games.

Defense was poor again, but we desperately needed a win and those are hard to come by on the road in the SEC.
