Why would you want to downgrade a group of young girls??? Yes, they let a game get away that they led until the final 5 seconds. But they were down to 6 players and started three freshmen and two sophomores, and one of the freshmen limped through the game still not fully recovered from a bad ankle sprain suffered in the Breathitt game. These girls and the Lee Co girls played a very competitive game and as in all games there has to be a winner and a loser. It just wasn’t meant to be this season for the Lady Owls. But they are young and all return for the next 2 to 3 years.
