The KHSAA today announced the class of 2025 inductees into its Hall of Fame for 2025. The ceremony will be held May 4 at the Kentucky Bank Center Banquet Hall Room.

The Class of 2025:

Darren Bilberry- Fort Knox. (Ath.)
Clark Burckle Jr.-St. X (Ath.)
Robert "Bobby" Curtis= St. X (Ath.)
Phil "Cookie" Grawemeyer- Manuel (Ath.)
Donnie Grey- Clay Co. (Coach)
James "Joe" Hamilton- Dunbar (Ath.)
Billy Hicks- Evarts, Harlan, Corbin, Scott Co. (Coach)
Stephanie Livers- Elizabethtown (Ath.)
George Randolph- Owensboro Cath. (Coach)
Greg Todd- Berea, Lex. Cath. (Coach)
Susan Shields White- Eastern (Ath.)

Congratulations to all of the class of 2025!
Clearly speaking from a mountain team supporter for many many years. Things like this are truly sad. Coaches everybody knows is or will be a hall of famer is only inducted a lot of times after their passing, not getting to receive their due recognition still with us. Two on this list is Donnie Gray and Billy Hicks. Very well could be more Im' not familiar with. Those are the two I know.  Been nice to see Gray and Hicks, two great coaches be able to accept this prestigious honor in person. Donnie retired in 2006 and had a .780 winning percentage. HOF'er. Hicks retired in 2019 with a 1013 - 276 record over 38 seasons. Again HOF'er. No denying either of them. No one will make me believe these two men could not have been inducted into the HOF before their passing in having the careers they had.
