Not many people expected this to be close. Pikeville played tough against a good Boyd Co team. Some turnovers hurt Pikeville and last second offensive rebound from Boyd Co. Boyd Co is a good team and the 16th region tournament game between them and Ashland will be a dandy.

What a game! I tuned into this one last night and both teams played great basketball. Spurlock didn’t play his usual basketball but still got the job done. As for pikeville they looked great as a team.It seemed like Keene didn’t play very much but Onkst, Sykes, and Walters definitely filled it in.

Solid performance from both teams. Coach Justice ran some really good actions and BLOPs. He takes advantage of every opportunity to score. Well coached team and they play physical and hard. Good win for a hot BC team.
