Maybe MC doesn’t have an easier road to Rupp than we expected.

Didn’t see this one coming. Johnson Central seems to be making strides at the right time with back to back big wins. Congrats to them.

Gotta give credit to JC. They played buzzer to buzzer and squeaked it out. They got a lot of home cooking though. Martin co didn’t even shoot a free throw in the 4th. JC was ready for watts and Davis’ scoring and Martin needed others to step up and they did. Dials and Estep played their best game of the season. If the officiating wouldn’t have got Maynard in foul trouble then he could have been more dominate. Just wish JC had more classy fans. This won’t be a game at Martin co. Still on the Road to Rupp

What a great atmosphere tonight at Central. It felt like an old time regional tournament game. On paper the Cards should’ve never lost this game but games aren’t played on paper. Martin County needs Bryson Dials to be their point guard. Their offense runs much smoother with him running the point and he makes shots. From the Martin County fans that I talked to after the game they feel the same way. There seem to be some unhappy people in Inez right now.

Tommy McKenzie and Tom Izzo are one and the same. No one cares what happens in November-January, both coaches will have their teams contending at the end of the year.

If a player makes contact and knocks a player to the floor and immediately during the dead ball head butts an opposing player for a technical and has to be pulled to the bench by a teammate and the referee makes the calls then I guess you could say the ref got him in foul trouble.

JC is finally out of football shape.Really great atmosphere tonight Slone was looking like how he was late last year I believe JC is still right in the mix with the top teams after tonight’s win .MC looked rough on defense tonight but still really solid on offense watts didn’t play his best but still had a good amount.estep and dials stepped up tonight both played really well on both ends.Looks like rose is finally getting some touches and looked really well tonight.Sheppard and Slone are gonna be tough to handle the next 2-3 years.See how we play tomorrow against pike central.

Top 2 teams in the region. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them play each other 4 times this year.

These guys were saying the same exact thing after the Martin/Magoffin game even though they won. Said the same thing after they got beat at the All A. The refs are always against them.

What did I hear about a player head butting another player?

Wow. Huge win for the eagles. Gonna be a heck of a regional tournament this year! Just wish they would play it at a school again instead of making it a money racket at the expo.

Hard fought game on both sides. Everyone complaining about officiating, honestly for three quarters was called great. The double fouls were understandable to keep game under control, but how do you not call a foul at the end of regulation? Both dials and watts get fouled. Cards bounce back today against Floyd Central.

I think overall it was a pretty well officiated game. Martin County had a chance to run away with this one in the 3rd quarter but then they lost their composure. The one call you can definitely argue about is the last possession of regulation. It looked like either Dials or Watts got fouled on their drives.
Huge win for JC and the difference maker in this one was Kyle Rose. He had 22 points and 16 rebounds. If he can even play at 12-14 ppg and 10 rpg the rest of the season it changes JC.
