Burnetts three at the buzzer rimmed out. Great game, I would not be surprised if these teams play not just two times, not just three times, not just four times, BUT FIVE TIMES!!

Huff with 41, Burnett with 30. Best guard matchup you are gonna find this season.

Gridiron Raid in the 1976 15th Region Betsy Layne vs. McDowell played in the district final and Region final, also home and home. The Jenny Wiley tournament played at start of season would these two teams have played, or McDowell fielded an in-season tournament would they have played? Hazard vs. Perry Central played WYMT finals, home and home and district and Region finals.

I thought this one would be a barn burner, and I wasn't disappointed. This is the kind of game that you don't want to see either team lose.

I would guess that’s one of the few times it has happened. It never happens in the 13th because we don’t have an in season tournament other than the all-a for all those years. But now the 2A gives an opportunity for it to happen. Depending on how the region aligns, i don’t see any team but south and HC beating bell. I don’t see any team beating HC if huff can score 41 while getting hounded by 2 guys when he crosses the volleyball line. So it very well may happen here.

That was a great game to watch. Eastern Broadcasting has a good product. I agree that was the best match up of guards this year so far. I thought maddox did a good job on buell in the first half. Huff is also unbelievably crafty around the rim. Burnett was solid getting to the rim. I could see them meeting again in the region finals.
