Killed on the boards.
"Last night, the gym was buzzing with excitement, but nothing shone brighter than ole Dickie Martin's commentary. As the clock ticked down, his voice hit a pitch only dogs could hear, and his enthusiasm was so contagious that even the janitor started doing play-by-play. Dickie’s metaphors were as colorful as a box of crayons, and his catchphrases? Pure gold. 'He shoots, he scores, and the crowd goes bananas!' might just be the new school motto. If there was an award for the best in high school broadcasting, Dickie would win it hands down, or should I say, mic down!"

If there were an award for referee bashing, he deserves that as well
