True Marshall said they would pull away in the 3rd.  He was most definitely right

Didn’t expect a blow out like this. Well a closer score I could say.

No surprise in this one. Shelby valley is great defensively but not great enough to match up with teams with extremely more athletic players. Offensively valley struggles with no true scorers. Excited to see how they match up against some other top dogs in the region.

Absolute Domination. MC clear favorite for region

I thought it was going to be a closer game than what it was but the cards showed how good they really are. Even a team that tried to come to Inez and play football wasn’t enough to take them down. Now on to Rowan!

Glad I got to stop and watch this one after work. In person you could tell it was much more physical but still a blowout. Very disappointed in Coach Taylor for putting in a player that never gets In to try to hurt/ fight watts. Gotta have a better strategy than that

Not sure on that part above with the kid never playing.

The right cross (PW) threw when the ref wasn’t looking after being face guarded is what started the issue. However that part was missed by the baseline official. Unfortunately for the kid who got punched he didn’t miss it

It landed nicely the kid who got hit has stitches under eye from it. Also the same kid had 8 last game and played from what I can tell in all games this season off the bench as 6th 7th man

All for nothing Martin is real deal loaded with talent good shooting scoring and when they want defense. SV couldn’t throw it in ocean all night moment was to big for them. Worst I have seen them play scoring wise all season. Credit Martin for the W and the defense.

I think it wasn’t coach taylor maybe more of John Meade because the actions how number 35 after he started jawing and pushing Parker Watts down the court and then pulling him. Looked like meade was loving it from the bench and gave him a high 5 after all of it happen. Very dirty play by valley im disappointed.

Rough night for Valley
Couldn’t score vs Martin
Watts is real deal

Watching online appeared the takedown was mutual. Hate anyone got hurt during it especially if punches were missed.

SV has no bench and are young
When the starters almost all had 2 fouls before the first quarter was over
Game was over just matter of time

No one in the 15th touching Martin

Stitches? I'd have to I see the pictures because Noone from either team went to the bench during the game due to blood.

This was one of the more dirty games that I have seen from a team in the 15th region. Coach Taylor seemed to have the game plan that his boys was going to take cheap shots and try to get in Martin County players head. They were out matched and he knew this was his only chance at least from the stands that's how it seemed and it back fired on him. It seemed to have made Martin County play harder.

Watt’s real deal he killed in the dj Begley too they played before us got to see him live

Thought this one would be closer
Taylor’s bunch is young though
Looked like it got away from SV in second half

Lot of off the backboard lobs and missed dunks and pressing up 35+ with the clock running might be why it got out of hand on the physical side just watching online perspective anyway

But Martin is loaded
Easily walking to Rupp

Martin is a hard nosed, tough team. They are easily the most athletic team in the region. I watched them at Pikeville and think they can hold their own in the jawing and playing dirty department. Valley seemed nervous. Shots didn’t fall. They played hard, but were no match for Martin’s athleticism. Both teams and coaches should be proud of themselves. Good night of basketball in the 15th.

This also shocks me, wow! Kudos to Martin they are most definitely the real deal.

The scary thing about this game for the 15th region was that I didn't think MC played particularly well on offense in the 1st half and still killed a pretty good SV team. SV is young, and it showed, but they've got a lot of talent. Both teams played great defense in the 1st half, but MC kept it up for 4 quarters, but both offenses missed a lot of open shots. SV missed a ton of open shots or this game would've been a little closer, but I don't feel like SV was ever a threat to win this game. It was close in the 1st half, but I never felt like SV had the upper hand on the game from beginning to end. Congrats to the cards.

Martin County is very good but they didn’t even play hard for most of this one. That’s the thing. Watch their effort against Pikeville and then against other teams they’ve played especially Perry Co. They have another gear they didn’t even use or need against Valley. Gave them one good spurt in second half and just cruised. Really MC took some bad shots again first half and didn’t play hard on defense or rebound well first half. Valley plays hard. No need for the other stuff but the coach seems to enjoy it. Valley has some good pieces but overall doesn’t match up with MC well. Martin does their share of talking and fouling but I wouldn’t call it dirty. They just get under your skin. There’s a difference. MC will be a tough out and the favorite currently but everybody in the 15th is very beatable.

Valley was playing very dirty the whole game. Heard that they brought out football players just to hurt watts don’t know how true it is but it looked like they were.
