Trinity 42 Ryle 23 6A State Championship
#1
Final from Kroger Field. Trinity wins back to back 6A titles and their 29th title and since their loss to St. X in the 2009 title game they are 10-0 in title games and have now won 29 out of I believe 33 state finals appearances.

Welp.

A hard to believe stat that from the start of the 2nd quarter where Trinity trailed 14-0 until just 1:03 left to play the Shamrocks outscored Ryle 42-3. Trinity is now 50-2 all-time vs. teams from northern Kentucky.

I knew you guys would wait until game was over to knock NKy football. It’s what you do. Pathetic. ?

Congratulations Trinity!!

I don't understand the knock that is just what the numbers are. 5A down to 1A I think NKY football is as good as in any part of the state but they have not done much in 6A the numbers do not lie sorry if you think that is pathetic.

It’s tough to beat The Rocks once they are on the championship finals. Even when they are trailing, they’re never out of the game.

Sorry 16BB fan. If you were only talking 6A you are correct

WOW. I had the Shamrocks winning, but this isn’t the way I expected it to be. What a start for Ryle and what a statement in the second half from the Shamrocks. Congratulations Trinity!

Sophomore quarterback, Zane Johnson gets game MVP.

Congrats also to former Prestonsburg Blackcat and Trinity assistant, Nathan Leslie on another state championship.
