Alabama 85 Houston 80 (OT)
#1
Final from Las Vegas last night.

This was a man's game. Very physical, lots of athleticism, and defenses that were pretty far ahead of the offenses at this point in the season. Defense was so tough that it was hard for anyone to really run a lot and do what they wanted, most of the buckets seemed like "who's going to make a play" and finish through someone.

Houston was ahead late and the foul count caught up to them. Sampson has a habit of running them into the ground with injuries late in the season, but if they stay healthy, they'll be a Final Four team. Cryer and Roberts were solid as always. Sharp and Uzan had pretty good games; Tugler and Arceneuax were solid as well.

Nelson struggled a bit defensively for Alabama, but you have to play him and it wasn't as if he was getting absolutely killed. Omoyuri had a fairly quiet 17 minutes. Sears carried Alabama and looked like the most complete offensive player on the floor.

Could possibly be a preview of a final 4 matchup.

Early on I seen where several were picking Alabama to get back to the final 4. Be a great test for the Cat's when we play Bama later on.

Houston has proven over the years that they're a team to be reckoned with,  come tournament time.

Heck of a game by both teams.
