Not to be disrespectful but do they teach the kids at Berea to tackle? I can understand getting ran over by the starters but most of the points in this game came off of 40+ yard inside runs from the JV and freshmen. This was a prime example as to why everyone doesn’t need to be in the playoffs because those Berea kids looked like they didn’t even want to be there.

I begged and pleaded for the forfeit!

Same thing in the mayfield vs Todd County , Todd had 16 players, I really felt sorry for the kids

Berea's issues are not from the players. You all read into that as you want. The culture and system is broken. The school has athletes, and all of them came out this year at some point. The difference in how the basketball program operates compared to the football program is night and day. The basketball team is in the 11th region, and shares a district with Madison Central. Right now, this same group of boys will probably be top ten team in the region and favored to win district. They know what it means to work hard and win. It takes someone to teach and lead, that is lacking in way too many schools these days.
For the Raceland coaching staff, players and fans... thank you for the way you carried yourselves last night. It was a truly classy act. You could have put a 100 points on us. You could have rubbed our faces in everything you did. You chose not to, and it was appreciated. So often, how a program carries itself and conducts itself is over looked. Raceland truly acted like champions last night. We knew what to expect traveling to one of the best programs in the state, but this score was not Raceland trying to embarrass us. Like someone said, we played uninspired and heartless.
Best of luck to the Rams.
As for Berea, let's go win district in basketball for the first time in 50 years.

All he knows right now is to destroy the guy in front of him and get up field. They say he loves the weight room so by next year he should be a major factor.
