Could be one of the better games of the night.
In one of Redick's first games back, the Lyons escaped Madisonville with a 73-70 win.
This game and a potential rematch with Henderson County in the finals will not be a cakewalk for the Lyons.
I have nothing against Lyon County and actually love seeing the smaller schools win, but the 2nd Region is underrated. I said last season that, whether then or now (this season), I didn't think Lyon County would make three straight trips.

Lyon County out to a 11-5 lead early. Surprised to see the Lyons already throwing a 2-2-1 and Diamond-and-1 press at the Maroons, but it's been effective so far. As I was typing my comment, they've pushed it to 15-5 with 4:33 remaining in Q1. Timeout MNH.
19-5, Lyon County leads. So much for a letdown tonight. We might be able to put this one to bed early.
27-14, Lyon with just over 6 minutes remaining in the first half.
After a corner three, it's 51-30, Lyon early in Q3.
61-35, Lyon County leads with just under two minutes remaining in Q3.
I'm typically limited to streaming and haven't gotten to see Lyon County in some of their bigger "showcase" type games this season, but they looked good early.
Madisonville North-Hopkins did not meet my expectations. Not sure how the team I saw played Lyon County within three in mid-February.

Shows what I know... on cue, Madisonville North-Hopkins hits a flurry and cuts it to 63-49 at the end of Q3.
The run began with a huge one-handed flush to make it 61-37. From there, an empty possession and Madisonville tip-in (from the same player who'd just dunked) made it 61-39. Lyons miss a three and the Maroons answer with a made triple. Lyons turnover and a Maroons basket. Then another turnover and another big sequence as the Lyons are called for an intentional foul on a made basket-- ended up being a five point trip.
Madisonville cut it to 12 points with around 7:30 remaining, but gave up a three, then missed three straight triples on their end and the door was again slammed shut after a Redick three.
