This game scares me. Vandy isn’t good, but they just got their first conference win Saturday, and they will be sky high for this one. We cannot afford a loss here. If we do lose, I’m gonna start worrying about even making the tournament, because we’ve got a tough road ahead schedule-wise.

I was just thinking about this the other day. We went from Final 4 potential to will we make it. That is if we continue to drop games. Need to win this one if for nothing else but to stop the bleeding from the last couple games.

I look for the Cats to handle Vandy. Hopefully, we'll see some incremental improvements on defense over the next nine games but I don't expect it to ever be very good. We're gonna have to be electric on offense and hope to get, maybe, one or two key stops down the stretch to win games against good teams. Fortunately, Vandy isn't one of those good teams. This is a win the Cats really need and I think they'll get it

Four things. One, KY really needs to get Wagner back. They're not gonna make any kind of deep run without him. They are 0-3 when he's not been available.

Secondly, COMMUNICATION has to get better. I'm convinced that lack of communication is a big part of why they are so bad on defense. They simply don't communicate well, and sometimes, not at all.

Third, where have you gone, Joe Dimaggio... er, I mean, Tre Mitchell. Once a rock solid and consistent contributor, he has all but disappeared of late. Is there something wrong with him? Too many minutes played for a broken down old body of 23? Is he unhappy?

Finally, while our offense has still been good , at times, it hasn't seemed to have quite the fluidity and flow it had since the "Bigs" have come back inserted into lineup? Has this slowed us down and affected the flow of the offense?

Nice! Yes, Vandy is awful but our Cats did what you are supposed to do to awful teams , and that is beat the leaving tar out of them. Dillingham is one confident young man. He's capable of throwing down 20 in ten minutes. Really nice game from Justin Edwards. Confidence is the key with him, it seems. I think he's gaining some confidence. Jordan Burks looks like a capable contributor, as well. I've heard Cal say what a beast he is in practice and how he just needs to translate his practice play into games.

Let's go get Gonzaga on Saturday! I'm having fun watching this team. There's been some stumbles , for sure, but they can flat out score and that's fun to watch. In recent years, we've just had some dreadful shooting teams that couldn't throw it in the ocean. As long as this team doesn't get too far behind in games against good teams, the offense will keep them in contention to win, imo.
