Final from Paintsville.

Floyd Central has been underwhelming this year. I really thought they'd be a top team.

Floyd Central has been disappointing the last several years. Those Covid seniors haven’t lived up to their hype. I don’t think they have the right leader over there but I’m not sure that will change any time soon. Maybe they can turn it around and get hot in the super regional. Only time will tell but time is running out.

Congrats to the young Tigers.

I watched Floyd Central get stomped by Magoffin County earlier this week. Wasn’t impressed at all, especially after all the buzz about how good they were gonna be this year. The score in that game Monday night could have been much worse if Magoffin wouldn’t have got lazy late in the 3rd and the entire 4th quarter.

Losing Braden Moore for an extended period has been catastrophic to the team. If he can get healthy, they can still win the whole thing. Leading scorer and rebounder when he went down despite being a guard. He's also the one player that can guard any position. They will go as far he takes them. Samons hasn't got the ball nowhere near enough the past 6-7 games without B. Moore on the floor.

Yea I have to agree. With Moore they are a different team, Samons does not get the looks that he should without him running the offense. I think that falls on the coach but what do I know anyway.. With Moore on the floor both were averaging about 20 per game
