I gotta say, this game was not exactly a work of art. Each team had more turnovers than touchdowns. Just an ugly game...
Unless you like defense. In which case, it was beautiful.
The one thing that looks like it will be Shelby Valley's undoing this year is their offensive line. Martin Co had people in the backfield all night long. RB's had no holes to run through, with several plays for negative yardage. Osborne had no time to throw, and seemed to be running for his life on every dropback. If SV doesn't get their line issues solved, they won't go very far in the playoffs.
Still, you win a lot of games with a defense like that. Held Martin to one score, and forced 4 turnovers. Great showing by the Wildcats' D.
