I guess you got me on the warren and owensbore statement....but I used to live in hardin county and I always thought that was central. I didnt realize they were all considered western...my bad.

Maybe considering the top teams and their preformances is not the best way of determing this. Some classes, like 6A in East KY have only 1 or 2 teams and every area has a few traditional powerhouses (West Mayfield, East Belfry, Central Danville, North Highlands, Louisville, Trinity, ect..). Anyone have a opinion on how the teams from each area with the worsts records would do if they played each other? Or the middle of the road teams from each area?

As far as trying to draw a line on border area teams and which region they belong, that is difficult to do and I just leave that up to everyone to make their own call. I thinkof Bowling Green as west, someone else may think of BG as central. No way to really qualify that aspect of this question

Even though I live in Eastern Kentucky I still think that this region is the weakest, and thats because of teams like, Betsy Layne, Allen Central, Phelps, East Ridge, Magoffin County, Morgan County, etc. (No offense to these schools) none of these teams could defeat 80% of the teams east of I-75.
