Pikeville put it on the dawgs. Surprised to see this score. Is Pikeville that good or did Hazard not show up to play?

It’s early

Pikeville has 3 guys who can beat anyone on a given day. If they can get a 4th guy to be consistent look out. Hazard will be fine but they couldn't have enjoyed the walkoff mercy lol.

They are used to to mercy rule/running clock type games on that field

It is early but its early for both teams which is why I asked the question. Not accustomed to seeing 10 run losses with Hazard on the receiving end.
Sounds like Pikeville is rolling early. As for Hazard, no doubt they will be fine. At least in the 14th region anyhow.

Pikeville only beat Perry Central 2-1 last night at Pikeville. Was a little surprised by the score.

Daniels I believe it was pitched very well for Perry. Perry had only 1 hit, in the 1st inning. Pikeville used 4 pitchers, an 8th grader got the save. Good game all around. Pikeville has Lawrence Co. today and Johnson Central and Greenup Co. tomorrow. Big early games already and good baseball being played at Davis Field.

Perkins threw for Perry. Daniels threw last inning.

I’m not in shocked. That’s the way baseball is. Perry has a good team just not a lot of offense so far. I look for them to improve a lot.

A lot of talent between those schools on the diamond this year.
