Heard today Big Jarrett Neace from Perry may be headed to Boyle. They said he was moving with his older brother for a job there. Jarrett is a one man wrecking crew.

I work for Boyle County Schools and was told the same thing Friday morning.

Boyle probably has about a 95% chance to repeat, 3peat, (or is it 4peat?) this year without a single transfer. Now what happens with them getting a top 10 running back in the state to go with their QB and Quisenberry? You get in some lineman to replace their D1 stud...Boyle will be the deepest team in the state, quite possibly.

Boyle already has a top 10 RB in Bodner.

... That doesn't change the fact they are still getting a top 10 running back from Danville, nor the fact this will put them as top 3 or so deepest team in the state.

Boyle will 4-peat but the Hounds appear to be getting a few stud replacement backs..The Hounds could quite possibly be better than this past season..

This is awesome news for those of us who don't expect to make a title run. Us high-school football fans will be looking forward to a rematch and hoping it will be an even better game than this last one. This last one was a real classic in my opinion. But I swear, in some ways the game Corbin played against Pikeville early in the year was just as good. I wouldn't mind seeing Pikeville play Boyle at some point as well in the regular season.

Boyle would welcome the game with Pikeville. Send them on down.

Boyle isn’t going to worry about anyone transferring to any school in their class. The road to a title still goes through Haddix and his crew.

It doesn't matter who Corbin gets in the transfer portal, Greer is still the head coach, and Haddix owns him!!!

Looking at their schedule, I don't see much resistance from anyone. Maybe LCA and Douglass? Lexington Catholic sounds like they're losing a few returning playmakers, so big no with them. IMO another 10-0 season and a trip to Kroger for the Rebs.

Boyle hasn't gone undefeated since 2020.

WHOA a whole 2 season Undecided that they have not gone undefeated. Are you saying they won't this coming year? Like i said IMO they will go 10-0.

Your use of the word "other" implies it is usually the case.  In the last 10 years Boyle went unbeaten in the Regular season in '18, '19 and '00.  It's not as often as one thinks in this era.  BTW, I'm a Boyle alum who would love nothing more than to see Boyle go 15-0.  Just pointing out that with LCA and Douglass on the schedule along with Scott County - nothing is certain.

I've always been one who doesn't mind a loss in the regular season. Personally, I think some teams need to be humbled, and a tough regular season schedule only prepares you for the playoffs. Haddix has proven he will play anyone, and the Frederick Douglas loss last year, turned Boyle's season around in my opinion.

Really looking forward to the upcoming season. Boyle will be loaded with talent in Quisenberry, Dawson, Bodner, Driver, and a few new faces. They all are working hard in the weight room currently looking to make their own destiny in the Rebel program.

Boyle should have their 2022 ring ceremony with in the next month. It's a great time to be a Rebel! #All4One

I’m curious, will this Boyle team be the best team in all 6 classes? I think they have to be in the top 3.
#28
I think it depends on the trenches. Not sure about best in all 6 classes but I think they will have a chance to compete for another ring.

To be honest I don’t really care about overall. I’ll take a loss or two against Bowling Green, Scott County, or Frederick Douglas if it’s in the cards just as long as they are standing at the end of the year in the 4A.

I’ll go to my grave saying that had Boyle not lost to LCA in 2021, they would not have made the adjustments to beat JC in the Championship.

That’s why I am such a huge fan of Haddix. He will flat out try to make the winning adjustments. I about fell over when he went for it early in that championship game that year.
