Boyd County 14 Rowan County 7 OT
#1
Final. Boyd played like crap on offense.

Boyd finishes the regular season 7-3. Played 10 straight games without a bye. They get their bye now before hosting Anderson County in the first round in 2 weeks.

If they win that first home playoff game. They will also play at home for the second round as well.

Good win for Boyd but a lot closer than I expected. Did Boyd have players out again or something?

I couldn't see the game. But the only player that I never heard his named mentioned was RB/LB Dakota Thompson. I think the pressure of playing in a championship game had them tight. Boyd got called for a bunch of holding penalties while Rowan got called for a bunch of motion penalties.  Rowan did a good job of possessing the ball. I would be curious what the time of possession was.

Congratulations on winning the district. Your reward is a 2nd round home game with defending state champion Boyle County
