Covington Catholic has won 9 straight games in this series and Highlands has given up 40 points or more in three different games this season. Covington Catholic has struggled some offensively but I like their chances of extending the streak to 10 at home.

I’ve watched both teams play live and I think this should be a good game. CovCath will have have the advantage with size and strength but I think Highlands has better team speed and the best player with Noon. This should be one of the best games across the state and based on what I’ve seen I think CovCath is better by at least a score but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Highlands win either.

Covington Catholic has beaten Highlands 9 straight times. Covington Catholic has played a much stronger schedule. Highlands lost to 2 of the 3 good teams they've played this season and the one they beat was a 1A team. Covington Catholic has a better defense than Highlands has played against all year. I'll take Covington Catholic until Highlands proves they can beat them. The loser of this game will be eliminated in the second round of the playoffs by Frederick Douglass. The winner might get eliminated in the second round by Scott County but that is less of a sure thing.

Tbh thats how it should be. The top teams in 1A should be playing these types of teams every year. Only problem is, we are a ways away from where all 4 teams were when they faced each other.
