Taylor's D1 commit running back was out in a boot. I think the game would have been closer but Casey D played the 2nd best game all year and was hitting. One thing about Casey, even when they were losing all those years they could be extremely physical with the kids they had. But that Smith kid for Taylor does make a huge difference. But I think Casey scored every possession on offense other than the first series where a kid dropped an easy slant for a huge gain. Our district is I would say considered mediocre by the really big power teams, but maybe even less than that now that a team with 4 D1 potential kids (that's what we are told at least), is now 0-2 in District. Glasgow has lost. Right now, unlikely "heroes" (lol), are Casey and Hart County. Hart just went off on Glasgow and beat them but narrowly defeated Green County...I think most teams in this district are not consistent, but do feel Casey is getting there, and also have Steve Stonebraker at the helm and that seems to make our kids believe. But to back you up, before the season started, I would have agreed with you on the pick em!
