Shelby Valley finally beats their district nemesis tonight on Robinson Creek.
If not for a blocked extra point, SV would’ve had a running clock in the first half. Instead, the Wildcats would have to wait till the 2nd half, when their 8th TD of the night would make the lead 54-14.
Valley goes to Prestonsburg next week.

Good win for SV!! Any time you win a district game it's a good win!! I'm not sure how good W. Carter really is this year. Going into the season I was under the impression that WC is a top 7 team. Maybe the 4th or even 3rd best team in the class!! I must have gotten bad info as they are clearly not a top 5-7 team!! Even still, WC is a solid & district competition for SV!! So congrats SV on your win!! Anyone who could tell me SV's next 3 games on the schedule wins a cookie!! Lol

Shelby Valley looked liked a solid football team tonight. I don’t think west Carter was what people anticipated, but, a district win against a team you haven’t beat is big! Congrats Wildcats, keep the momentum you’re building rolling. More people in the community are starting to come out, keep giving them a reason.
