Absolute worst called game that I have ever witnessed in high school. Feel sorry for those kids up on the hill at Floyd central. And Coach Hager never got in the refs ear once. I would be ashamed if my kid played for a coach like that.

Sounds like may have had the referees that reffed pburgs first 2 games.

Hensley #5 and Pugh #34 for Leslie were the best players on the field. Hensley scored 2 TDs which puts him 9 on the season in 3 games and Pugh had to have 20 plus tackles. Some of the best linebacker performance I've ever witnessed. Both teams played their hearts out. Great game till the final buzzer.

Good to see Leslie get in the win column. Hensley is a stud at all 3 sports. I’m surprise he went back to lc after transferring to hazard last year.

Yeah I didn’t think it about Hager either. Maybe Hager is at the end of his rope, I’m not sure. We will find out in a few weeks when they play Pike Central. If he doesn’t win that game they won’t win a game all year. And he has some absolute bulls in his senior crew on that team, and I’ll tell ya, next year ain’t looking no better tbh. I hope he figures it out because he is a great guy.

The better team did not win this game. No offense to Leslie County, but Floyd Central shot themselves in the foot tonight and give this one away.

Two huge dropped passes, fumble at the goal line, and a awful decision by the punter to roll right into trouble and punt gets blocked to give LC the lead.

WMDJ said in the post game that FC had 13 more first downs, held LC to -3 rushing, had 325 total yards to LCs 175, and owned the time of possession, 35-12 and still lost. Just brutal if you’re a Jaguar.

FC doesn’t look bad in the spread, but they’ve got to work on catching the football to help the QB out. I’d also be eliminating the rugby style punting. Jags defense played well other than one blown coverage.

I wonder what the statistic is on this, but it feels like FC has lost 9 or 10 games in the last 2 or 3 seasons by 7 points or less. It's like they always play well enough to win but just don't win.

You are correct, they've lost 9 games the last 2 seasons by 7 or less. Would have been 10 but they lost to East Ridge last season by 8.
