Is anyone going to this event in the Expo Center on the 13th? It's free and I'll definately be in attendence to support the Miners. I hope this team really takes off and they have a bunch of people there.

I would think the 3 most well known players would be Brandon Stockton, Josh Pace, who played on the Syracuse 03 Title team, and Marcus Heard who played for DePaul. I figured once Orbzut got cut by the Pacers he would sign with the Miners but I've not seen or heard anything like that.

What are the details of the Miners Madness? I wish they had a couple of more UK alums, but it is nice to see players from other KY colleges on the teams.

Orbzut was drafted in 2nd round of the NBDL Draft by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

As far as details about the event, its basically a pep rally for the team, the players will be introduced the dance team will be on hand, and fans will be given a chance to vote for the name of the mascot. The winner of the contest will be given an autographed basketball as well as 2 season tickets. It will be from 7 to 9 PM at the Expo Center on the 13th of November.
