12:30 A.M. and it's HALFTIME at Belfry! Belfry up 28-0 over Bourbon.
#1
Bourbon has athletes, VERY GOOD athletes, and a very very good running back, fast QB with an arm, plus receivers. Belfry just runs a "perfect" offense and run game, and their defense is about as solid as it gets. Always an underrated secondary which seems to be able to stop most of the best passing offenses...But boy I feel sorry for Bourbon having to travel home after this butt whipping, and this long a game with a delay..

Correction. Bourbon very well could be 12 or 14. But still, Belfry controls the ball and clock so much.

35-6 3rd quarter.

35-6.

That INT was most likely the end of the ballgame. Still quarter and a half to go. It would take a fumble recovery, or scoop and score to even make it feasible for Bourbon. Belfry almost never turns it over.

#13, Moody kid for Bourbon most likely plays college ball for someone. He might be the best athlete on the field. But Belfry is just so well coached in this triple option, such a freakin machine that doesn't make mistakes.

Been expecting Bourbon kid to get kicked out, or a penalty. His teammates have done a good job calming him down a few times.

Great bounce back win for Belfry. Bourbon has an athletic solid team, but not a lot of depth. Belfry so young in the backfield, potential is unknown at this time for the playoff but I would wager they will be right there, in the mix, for #9.

42-14, probably gonna be your final.

Good bounce back win for the Pirates against a pretty good Bourbon County team.

I expect too see Belfry back at Kroger Field in December, probably in a rematch against Paducah Tilghman
