Joey Logano leaves Los Angeles with the win in the season opener (non-points).
I was extremely skeptical of how entertaining this race would be with the new cars and average speeds of around 60 mph but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It could have been better but I found the race entertaining from start to finish with the heat races and LCQs. It put me in mind of a Saturday night short track race at your local track, it just happened to be in downtown LA.
