At the 1989 WYMT Basketball Classic McDowell opened play against Clay County. I cannot remember if Brent played. His McDowell team only lost by 5 points. Brent started his senior year on 11-22-1988 scoring 2 points. He played on a special team for Coach Turner. He was part of a team that won the district and made it to region finals. On 12-6-1988 Brent scored 2 points. On 12-7-2021 Ryan Rose scored 6 points for Johnson Central. Both games were in Hindman at the Knott Central gym.

I didn't think Brent played much at all that teams starters consisted of dicky Joe Shannon Henry Webb Lenny hall mark Hall  and Lance hall was at center.
