Somerset wins at home. It's their first regional championship in 20 years, when Coach Steve Wallace's squad reached the state semis.

The Briar Jumpers, now 11-5-1, will travel to Louisa next week to play 15th Region champ Lawrence County.

Seen several posts about the field conditions for the Regional finals. KHSAA should impose restrictions on field quality for games such as these. I realize both teams played on the same bad field but they both deserved better. Congratulations to Somerset.
