Beechwood 49 Paintsville 0
#1
Final
#2
Unfortunately Paintsville will be lucky to win two games this year

Congrats to the Beechwood Tigers.

I expected Beechwood to win, but damn! Did Paintsville lose everything from last year or is Beechwood just this good?

They were intimidated from the opening kickoff. They were not ready to play tonight.
Beechwood played lights out. Their QB is a stud.

Watched the stream up until Beechwood got up by 28.

Hergott is the real deal. Good arm talent, but overall a great football player. He’s tough to tackle, elusive, has breakaway speed. It’ll be hard for many defenses to keep him contained for 48 minutes.

Paintsville has a good team. Just hard to gauge them this early against two veteran teams like Pikeville & Beechwood. If they can keep guys healthy, they’ll still be a threat in class A, no doubt.

Congratulations Beechwood!

Congratulations to Beechwood but don’t get discouraged Paintsville it’s a long season (maybe who knows with Covid still hanging around) still I think the potential is there just have to keep working and getting into the new system and still think you guys will be a tough out at the end of the year.

Paintsville, did they lose everything? Is beechwood that good? Time will tell and its still an early season.. who knows what will happen!

I was at this game and while Paintsville wasn’t as strong as they have been a lot of this score had to do with Beechwood being that good. Beechwood was tough at almost every position and they looked like a team that would be competitive in 1A-3A. Paintsville may be down by their standards but by the time they play Raceland they will be a tough out.

Paintsville lost alot from last year, but they're still a good football team. I think this score says more about Beechwood than it does about Paintsville

Tough deal for Hoskins.

Having a new head coach and playing two very good football teams is a tough combination. Paintsville will definitely improve, I just think it will take a few more weeks to work things out. The main thing is for everyone around their program to not get discouraged. I believe your football team will get a lot better by the end of the season.

Yeah. Playing Pikeville and then Beechwood back to bsck weeks is a tall task for a veteran team full of four year starting seniors. Paintsville will be fine

I’m not worried. We have played 2 teams that would beat everyone in Class A and 98% of 2A. Defense will improve with more reps.
