Correction, Ashland did score first 3-0 with 3:57 in the 1st but Boyd led most of the way from some time in the 2nd 7-3 until 5:10 in the 4th.

Ashland D is legit. Their offense has 10 turnovers and 15 plus penalties.

The Defense looked good for Ashland tonight but there offense is not your typical Ashland offense. Ashland doesn't have the outstanding running backs that normally have each year at Ashland. Ashland normally has 2-3 top running backs but not this year. Ashland has a nice young sophomore QB that looked good at times tonight. I could see Ashland losing a couple of games this year.

Can't win to many games like that. If the Tomcats can fix their turnover problem, they could still have a pretty good year. Long way to go until playoff time. Good luck and congrats on the win.

Is the Tom cats offense young? That many turnovers and penalties.. haven’t saw a game but sounds to be undisciplined or young. Defending state champs I’m sure they’ll turn it around.

Boyd deserved a better fate. Ashland ran 2 consecutive plays with 12 players including the 30 yard TD pass. You can see it at the 2 hour 45 min mark. Boyd should file a protest. The video shows definitive proof that can't be disputed.

Ashland needs to get the ball in the hands of #2 in more creative ways. #3 as well. Palidino is a solid RB but their offense is incredibly predictable. With out exceptional players like Pitman, Hester, and Garret, they are sputtering. Their defense is legit though. They are just on the field way too much.
