I was listening to the Paintsville radio stream and the TD run he had in the 3rd quarter sounded like it was a great play.

Letcher central is a good team. They could play with any team in the mountains not named Johnson Central. Letcher is 5 tds worse than Johnson Central on any day but they played awful last week. They quit after the bad start. Letcher physically dominated this game. Paintsville has probably 8 holding calls and could have had a bunch more. They had a hard time blocking the small fast front Letcher has. Besides J C game last week Letcher defense has only give up 43 points in 5 other games.

I thought LCC had an edge in this one.
To be fair, Paintsville is really banged up...and in 1A that’s a killer.

Top two running backs sat out, second best o-lineman is lost for at least this season, and for some reason they have not run any designed quarterback running plays the past two games. Idk if the qb is banged up, or it is some sort of load management, but he was carrying it like a bull for the first five or six games, and now that very effective phase of their offense has been taken out of the game plan. But, that’s not what lost this game. Tigers flat did not make plays, and LCC make the two decisive plays by scoring two long touchdowns on fourth and shorts in the third quarter. Paintsville kept shooting themselves in the foot and turned it over on downs twice inside the five.

Letcher out played them straight up. Coming off a 60 something to nothing loss from the beast from the east JC. I don't wanna hear it. But I do hope all OUR boys get and stay healthy regardless of who's name they wear across their chest. We are all mountain family Baby! Mountain football at its finest!

However, I guess folks who get great entertainment value from picking wings off of flies would really dig watching another one .

That’s it’s In a nut shell. We have so many from the outside that scream for that game every year. Typically Pikeville fans but that’s about it. They think they can compare Belfry to JC. Those two programs are not even close.
