KHSAA did the right thing in my opinion on not having dead period this year. Though decision for them to make because it’s about safety of the students. Tackett caught my attention when he was asked for his opinion on not having dead period this summer. When he stated cheaters going cheat no matter what the board voted on yesterday. I hope that coaches have not been doing workouts on school facilities during this dead period. However, I can say there been some coaches that have been having workouts.

Agree 100% on getting rid of dead period this year, no need for it. KHSAA did the right thing, hopefully that continues.
