As a basketball fan sitting on the top bleacher at the Millard gym. Coach Stewart came by and give me a program for the teams playing in his games. He was a kind man who coached at this small school. Some players who played around December 2-4, 1994 were Lance Bowman from Pike Central who scored 30 points in 2 games. Jamie Hamilton from Pike Central scored 40 points in 2 games. Keith Fuller from Feds Creek scored 26 points. Josh Leathers scored 17 points for Millard as they started the season 2-0. Ryan Shannon a eight grader for South Floyd scored 8 points early in his career. A gentleman from the Virgie area told me that Rodney Fuller scored 55 points in a eight grade game. Does anyone know this story? Rodney 18 points that i saw him play at the 1990 Johnson Central region put his team into the finals with a win over McDowell. Keith Shelton scored 18 for McDowell. Barry Hopkins who finished his senior season with 32 points for the Millard Mustangs in this 1990 region. The clock on the wall at Millard show tenths on the clock. It could read 29.77 left in game. The next whistle could show 8 seconds and 57 tenths.
