Looking at the stat line from last game. Leslie had Freshman rose to the occasion. A tough test for the young Lady Eagles, but I like them at home. Leslie averaging 46 rebounds a game, compared to 18 for Letcher.

Leslie hasn't played the schedule LCC has , but the game is at Leslie. Contain Meyers and the Cougars win. Toss up

I think Leslie has a little more fire power than you think. I looked at their stats for their last game and 4 kids had double digit scoring games. 2 of them Freshman, one had 29pts

There is no containing the Myers girl, even on a bad night she finds ways to score. The young Eagles are starting to step up and play their part. Bowling has had some big games and the Napier girl is a shooter. This one is going to be a tough one, but I got the Eagles winning this one.

Congratulations to Coach Baker and the Lady Cougars. Sitting at 6-1 and should be 7-0 but the loss at Prestonsburg shouldn't have happened. Letcher girls are my pick to win the region but Hazard, Perry, Leslie, Knott, and Owsley all are contenders. Cougars are playing very good team ball. Thought this would be closer though but Leslie's younger players will grow as the season goes on. Nice win on the road.

Letcher is an athletic team. To hold Meyers to 5-21 from the field is very good.

Leslie will be fine. Meyers is a team player and the other girls are still learning their roles. Davidson almost had 10 rebounds in this one and Bowling had a good game as well. Letcher is well coached and Leslie will improve as the season goes. Playing today and through the weekend in Gatlinburg and Letcher will be there also. They will grow up a lot in this tournament.
