Beechwood 26 Corbin 10
#1
Final
#2
rut roh.

I think the Redhound faithful are probably as perplexed by this score as I am.

I was seeing 42-14 type predictions in favor of Corbin. Not sure where things went wrong this early but there is still plenty of time for corrections and adjustments.

What happened to Corbin in the last two years?

64SUR will soon be on the Whitley County bandwagon. "marked" it down.
#6
Listen to it on 107.3 Offense terrible
#7
Wow surprised by this score. Somerset looking like a contender after what they did last week.
#8
Looks like the pain of losing the bulk of defensive coaches has caught up with Corbin with a big bite.HC should be questioning letting all that experience walk away from the sidelines for plan b. Sounds like offense struggled same as D. Predicting long season for those Hounds. Don’t see many W’s this season.
#9
Beechies punched Hounds in the mouth. Bunnies 🐰 are loaded.
#10
Congrats to the tigers, they showed up to play just like I knew they would.....
#11
This one is mind blowing. I missed it bad.
#12

Not really I knew Beechwood would be ready to play after two losses, no one likes losing but we are young and will learn and grow from this...….we aren't near the team we will be come November....

Wow. Congratulations Beechwood.

No buddy he has went to Williamsburg

congratas Beechies, did not see this one. Heck apparently I don't see alot

Beechwood is Beechwood. Some on here really thought they would start the season 0-5, 0-6. Beechwood is a traditional powerhouse. I don’t care how many guys they lose to graduation. You can throw those first two games out the window. Beechwood will be just fine.

Another head scratcher here. It definitely was Friday the 13th.
#19
After the Somerset game I thought Corbin would win this one but I thought it would be close. Corbin lost a large and talented Sr. class last year. They should be a little down this year. They will be fine.
#20
Really surprised by this score. Congrats to Beechwood.

Just a few thoughts for the night

Beechwood was able to pass across the middle all night.

Corbin’s secondary is terrible.

Somerset will beat Corbin by 40.

Our D1 prospect has to stop running sideline to sideline, If doesn’t he needs to play JV

Oops. What happened???

Anyone that doesn't know Somerset is in the running for a state title and is the real deal, by now, is an idiot. You could just look at them walking out to the field and know they are formidable. I didn't place Beechwood as some junk team for losing to them. Corbin simply ain't as good as they were last year, which losing what they lost and thinking sophomores and freshman are ready to step in and replace them is nuts. And also, Somerset is just that good. Beechwood is a good team, this year's bunnies are great. Corbin will make their climb back up more next year. A bigger hill to climb with the competition in 4A. No class really has it easy, from 1A to 6, those traditional powers are always going to be there, or those private schools with out of state talent...
#24
64 come on out and play..
#25
I thought Corbin might challenge JC this year but after this game I've changed my mind. JC will destroy Corbin
#26
Wow look at that the sun’s still shining, miracles never end...

Somerset has a shot at a title, but not so fast, still a lot of football to be played. Corbin will be fine. Young teams take longer to come around. Go Hounds.

Never fear, these young Pups at Corbin have a tough schedule, one designed to make them battle tested come post season. I'd say Corbin has one of the toughest schedules in the state arguably in any class, I would not want to face them later on in the playoffs, give this amazing staff at Corbin an opportunity to do wht they do. How long has it been since the hounds lost back to back games?
#29
let me guess .. corbin is going to be okay going to make a run at boyle and jc ... corbin ain’t gonna make it to week 3 of playoffs
#30
Corbin still has a great program and will end up having a good season, but you can’t tell me losing those defensive coaches hasn’t hurt.
