Powell County head coach and basketball legend, 700 Win legend, David Fraley has retired. Blake Williams will coach the Pirates the rest of the season. I'm not sure if he's permanent or interim.

WYMT reporter said he was interim..but somebody told me that’s why Williams left Knott Centrals bench, because he was being primed to take over for Fraley when he retired..I look for the young coach to get the permanent position if folks stay happy the rest of the season..I wish him the best of luck.
