Huntington Prep is housed within

St. Joseph Central Catholic High School

, a religious school.

The students are regular St. Joseph's students and must abide to the rules and regulations of the high school. After being an accepted part of the school, Huntington Prep is now Huntington St. Joseph Prep (even wearing the St. Joe emblem on the uniforms).

They have 3 teams #1 the regular high school varsity which is 1a in wv and #2 a National prep team and #3 Regional prep team

So technically they did play Huntington prep regional even though it wasn't the one who has the players who are close to 7 footers and even one 7'1" which is the national team(d1 players).
