Murray @ Marshall County 9/14/18

Murray (2-2) visits Draffenville to take on Marshall County (3-1). Last year the Marshals won 52-35 but the teams seem to be trending in opposite directions this season. A Tiger win would go a long way towards guaranteeing a .500 season or more. The Marshals need this victory before running a four game gauntlet through the tough 5A District 1.

Marshall County's skill players gave the young Murray team trouble last year and struck on some big plays. This year, the Marshals are structured to be a run heavy offense. I think Murray will be more balanced offensively than the Marshals and be able to put up some points. The big question is how Murray will handle the bigger experienced Marshall County line. If the Marshals can't control the LOS they are in trouble. The Tigers seem to play a bit of a bend but don't break defense. I'm taking Murray 34-21
