Paintsville was up big time at the half, 22-8 and Pikeville had no answer for stopping Phelps. Second half was a different story. Pikeville picked up their defense a notch and it seemed that the Paintsville coaching staff went away from Phelps in situations where the ball should have definitely went in his hands.

All the credit goes to the Pikeville defense for shutting out Paintsville in the 2nd half. Panthers showed a lot of heart coming back for the win.
